Manazel Al Zaireen

The room had a few problems: I kept finding ladies hair, even on the towels, which was disgusting. The bed mattress wasn't stable, and the pillows were very thin. I asked for another one, but they didn't have any. There was no wifi in the room either. When I asked the girl at reception, she said there might be an issue and they'd fix it. She didn't ask for my room number until I gave it to her. My data coverage was poor in the room, which was why I needed wifi. Getting to Haram took me up to 30 minutes. First, take a bus to Kudai bus stop, then another one to Haram. Getting back from Al-Haram was easy: take a bus to Kudai, then another to Bathaa Qureish. They won't explain those connections unless you ask. I was lucky to catch a bus from the hotel to Kudai only once in 6 days. They said buses came every 30 minutes, but didn't make it clear that they don't run during busy hours. I ended up taking a taxi to Kudai bus stop for 10 Saudi Riyals, though they asked for more, then paid another 8 Riyals for the Makkah bus to Al-Haram. There's not much around the hotel, just one Turkish restaurant across the street. It's expensive, and the food isn't that good.

It's a little far from harm, but the place is nice overall.
