Nasamat Al Khair Hotel

It's near haram, and the room was nice, though a little small. Otherwise, it was good for a one night stay. There wasn't a chair, the TV remote didn't work, and the internet in our room was down. To get online, we had to leave the room.

The street outside is muddy, wet, narrow, noisy, and dirty because of the vendors, and it isn't properly paved. That makes wheelchair access difficult. If you have a disability, getting by taxi to Taneem and then to Haram can also cost a lot. Inside, I waited three hours to check in, the room smelled bad, and hot water was often unavailable. Getting into the elevators meant frequent waits and guests fighting over them. Other guests cooked loudly, shouted, and banged hard on doors.

The rooms were clean, though staff should pay more attention to what guests need. Getting to Haram takes about 12 minutes from the room, including crossing the highway to reach the Haram bus station. The location feels neither especially close nor far.

You can find food and household necessities near the hotel, and there's a metro bus stand nearby too. The Holy Kaaba is close, which was the main draw for me. The rooms, service, and staff behavior were all very nice, with ongoing maintenance and cleaning in the rooms. It looks luxurious, and the price felt fair, neither cheap nor expensive. I had an amazing stay, and would choose it again for Umrah or Hajj in Makkah.
