I've been to Mecca three times, and this was the worst hotel I've experienced. I stayed 10 days, but there was no room service and the blankets and towels weren't changed. My bedsheet had food stains and didn't look clean. I suspect it was left from the previous guest, so I was glad I'd brought my own. The dining hall wasn't hygienic or well maintained. Maybe they didn't have enough staff for the large groups, but the floor wasn't mopped and tables weren't cleaned after meals. The Suarau for prayer was worst of all. Its carpet wasn't cleaned or vacuumed, and there was lint scattered across it. I suspect dust from the carpet could be spreading germs and making Jemaah cough. The electronic key card was also a hassle. Sometimes I had to swipe it more than 10 times. I wouldn't recommend staying here.

The hotel staff gave water to people out on the street in the extreme heat, and they let us take shelter in the lobby too. During Hajj 2024, we were walking from the Jamarat in heat reaching 50C, and we'd run out of water. We ended up on Sidqie Street when we couldn't bear it any longer. Rawasi Al Barakah was the only hotel with its door open. They gave us plenty of water, and their kindness helped us recover and continue our walk to Makkah. We were worried we were close to heatstroke, and they really helped us. May Allah bless the hotel and staff and reward them abundantly. Best regards from Melbourne Australia.

The location was the only plus. The bedsheets smelled, the floors were dirty, the drains were blocked, and there was no room service. It's the most unclean hotel I've ever stayed in anywhere. All our hajj pilgrims contracted influenza.
