Roots Hotel

The room had three beds, and the kids felt comfortable in its warm, pleasant atmosphere and slept really well. We also had the amenities we needed, including a heater, iron, slippers, and fridge. The receptionists and staff were very welcoming and helpful.

Getting transportation was difficult, and the transfer to Alharam Almakki was even worse. The room wasn’t clean either. It was one of the worst experiences I’ve had, and I wouldn’t recommend staying here.

We were kept waiting for a long time at check-in without an explanation, and the female receptionist spoke to us rudely. She seemed sullen and acted arbitrarily, leaving us feeling as though we were being reprimanded. Her indifferent, unprofessional attitude from the moment we arrived felt completely at odds with the hotel’s hospitality and quality. She was overweight and very arrogant. We don’t understand why this employee felt she could treat guests this way. It risks losing customers and damaging the hotel’s image. We strongly ask that appropriate discipline be taken and that we receive a response about her.

The food was poor and there were only a few choices. Staff at reception couldn’t handle our requests, and it seemed nobody there spoke English. During my six-day stay, our room was never cleaned, despite my asking many times. We didn’t get basic supplies like toilet paper at all during those six days. The whole stay was awful, the worst experience I’ve had, and I absolutely wouldn’t recommend this hotel.
