Sama Almisk Hotel

The quiet setting in Jumayzah is a big plus. You can reach the area by exiting Haram from the Marwa side, and it’s away from the crowds and noise of Ibrahim Khaleel road. The hotel is clean and well maintained, with staff often wiping things down or dusting the corridors. Shops nearby are better and cheaper than those on Ibrahim khaleel road. There are plenty of places to eat, including Pakistani, Indian, Bangla, Turkish, Arabic, Sudani, and Egyptian restaurants, plus juice shops and fast food. Zam zam Pakistani restaurant is great if you want a filling meal for less. It’s affordable, peaceful, and a good fit if you mainly come back to sleep for a few hours before heading to haram again. The hotel mostly has guests from Central Asia and Africa, so Indians are harder to spot and Hindi speakers are harder to find. Staff are accommodating and nice, but service is slow and room cleaning happens only once every five days. The rooms are a bit tiny, with little space to walk around. The fridge was broken, and the coffee machine was broken too, though it did work. After a long day at haram, hot water was ready within minutes, which made for a welcome shower. The shuttle is all right: it saves walking, but the wait can be long and the ride crowded. The laundry machines were broken, so hand washing and drying clothes on the terrace, or using one of the many laundries outside, is a better option. I really like the cleanliness and decor, and would stay here again in the future, in sha allah, Aameen. May Allah call me again and again.

The staff are friendly and the service is excellent. It’s close enough to walk to the Haram, and everything is nearby.
