Violet Hotel

We had the worst three-night stay and the worst customer service. For the price, you can find a better option. The parking lot was always full, and the basement parking was even worse. With 1000 rooms in this hotel, what can you expect from their customer service? We were in room 306. A faulty bell kept ringing all night. We thought it was a problem with the doorbell, but it only stopped when we removed the main door card, so we had to sleep in the dark without AC. We called many times, but a man came and did nothing. They didn’t answer the phone either. Room service was absent for two days, and we had to literally beg to get the room cleaned. Even then, it was only average cleaning, with no extra towel or additional water bottles like they usually leave after cleaning. Save your money for somewhere better, and check the room instead of getting distracted by the fancy entrance.

I’ve just finished three nights at the Violet Hotel in Mecca, and I was really impressed. The service was top-tier, but the dining stood out most. Big thanks to Mr. Tamer and his crew. Every meal was made with care and skill, and the food quality and attention to detail exceeded my expectations. Highly recommended if you’re after great service and world-class cuisine.

Breakfast was a highlight, fresh and delicious, nicely presented, and with plenty of choice. The staff were welcoming and hospitable, especially AZHAR, who was incredibly cooperative. The hotel was spotless and well maintained everywhere, from the rooms to the shared spaces, which made for a comfortable, relaxing stay.

Assalamu Alaikum. I work in food delivery, so my job takes me to lots of hotels. Violet Hotel stands out among the ones I’ve visited as one of the best. I don’t know its star category, but if there were 100 hotels in Saudi Arabia, I’d rank it number one, especially in Makkah. The service is excellent, and the staff are polite, respectful, and genuinely caring toward guests and workers like us. I highly recommend Violet Hotel to anyone coming to Saudi Arabia for Umrah or tourism. Their hospitality is exceptional.
