My family and I came all the way from Jeddah to Mecca to see our relatives, Indian umrah hajjis, but the visit felt insulting. The receptionist wouldn't let us meet them at first. Only after we asked repeatedly did they allow us 15 minutes. Hotel staff also looked at my family suspiciously. Not a good experience.
The room is okay for the budget, but the service doesn't feel like hospitality.
I spent six days here without hot water in the washrooms. Reception kept promising it would be fixed that day, but nothing changed. The hotel is awful. If your tour assigns you this place, it feels like you've been ripped off.
It was a five-minute walk to the Haram, so you could be inside for salah when you heard the adhan. Fare was 140 SAR. The room was just okay, as was the attached bathroom, with four beds, an almirah, and a fridge.
For a budget stay, the rooms are good and it's near the Haram. Service was good too.
