The price is the main downside. For a three-star hotel it feels expensive, though when I looked nearby, the alternatives were even pricier, so it was a reasonable compromise. Its biggest advantage is how close it is to the Prophet’s Mosque, just 2-3 minutes away. For anyone prioritizing that, the location is excellent. The rooms are small and the furniture is very old and worn. The bathroom tiles look tired, but the hot water, water pressure, and other functions were fine. There are only two power outlets, one on each side of the bed, and a small wardrobe. The mattresses are good, and the sheets were clean and freshly washed. Food was average. The staff made a genuine effort, though the place still feels like a three-star hotel. Elevators can be slow or break down, and at busy times the wait gets long. We also had a fire alarm go off unexpectedly in the middle of the night. It woke everyone, and we struggled to get proper rest afterward. We were already tired and planned to get up very early for morning prayer. The payment process was uncomfortable. During booking, the hotel says it has trouble receiving prepayments through Booking.com and asks guests to pay through external links sent from an unknown WhatsApp number. When you open the link, it unexpectedly asks for full payment for the whole stay upfront. That leaves little way back and means paying before arrival without seeing the room or knowing its condition. The hotel seems to expect guests to feel pressured to go ahead at that point. This is an acceptable place to sleep overnight if you’re realistic about the basic standard and mainly want to be close to the mosque. I wouldn’t expect to spend much time in the room, since most guests come to pray and leave.

Check-in was smooth and pleasant, thanks to the welcoming, kind, and professional reception staff. Special thanks to Haifa Alhazmi and Samira Alharbi. They were so polite, helpful, and professional, and I really appreciated their warm hospitality. I had a great stay.

I was only here for one night, and thank god for that. The rooms are small, and the shower area was dirty enough to look like it hadn’t had a deep clean in a while. Being close to the mosque was a plus, and the porters were helpful. Breakfast was underwhelming, with limited choice. They split guests between sections for Arabs, Turkish guests, and everyone else, even though the buffet areas were all the same size. When one section was full, they wouldn’t let people use the other areas even if there were several free tables. Most of the food had milk, and there was no clear allergen information. Anyone with allergies had to keep asking whether things contained nuts or milk.

The best part for us was the service. The receptionist showed us a ready room when we arrived early, at 1:30pm, even though check-in was at 4pm. I checked it before agreeing, and it was fine apart from missing towels, which I pointed out. He mentioned a 150 SAR early check-in fee, then kindly waived it. By the time we got to the room, the towels had been put there. Housekeeping were friendly and attentive too. One day our room was missed, but reception arranged cleaning while we were out for maghrib. We booked through booking.com because we wanted a two bed, two bathroom suite close to the mosque. I paid one night in advance by transfer without any issues, and the pre-stay service was fine, with replies on what's app. The room was okay for the price. It smelled a bit and wasn’t perfect, but 420 for four people over three nights was a bargain for a two bed, two bathroom place at outside gate 309. It’s a three star hotel, and that’s what you should expect. The walk to the closest women's prayer area at the mosque took around 6-7 minutes, which was fine. The location also worked well for Quba avenue and its shopping area. With six lifts, getting in and out was easy and quick. I’d stay again.

The rooms felt cramped and the bathrooms could use maintenance and renovation, as some fixtures and finishes looked worn. The hotel was also almost always crowded, especially in common areas and at peak times, so it felt busy rather than relaxing. Its location is very good for visitors to Medina, though, and that’s the main reason I’d consider it. Overall, the stay was average, with plenty of room to improve comfort, upkeep, and crowd management.
