The room was clean, comfortable, and spacious, and staff were friendly. It's a great location, with a mosque, restaurants, and other facilities all within an easy walk. The Haram parking is about a 7-10 minute drive with no traffic, and there is parking in the basement and behind the hotel. The shower cubicle is a little cramped, and the Wi-Fi was unreliable in my room on the 6th floor.

A couple of shops downstairs make the location convenient. The room was a different story: it didn't match what we saw online, the air conditioning was dusty, and the bedding didn't look fresh. We asked for cleaning, towels, and tissue paper for three days in a row, but nobody came and the floor wasn't cleaned either. Honestly, I can't see why this place has more than two stars. I wouldn't book here.

I booked this place only because I was worn out after traveling, but the price was far too high for what we got. At reception, the staff were cold and rude, and made inappropriate comments about my country. The room was poor for the cost, with no towels and a phone that didn't work, so I had to go downstairs for basic items. I waited half an hour after being told towels would be sent. When I checked again, they said they were out and hadn't bothered to tell me; the next morning I was rudely told to return at 10:30. The advertised shuttle service wasn't real either. Poor management, no hospitality, and misleading information. I wouldn't recommend it, especially for international guests or pilgrims expecting basic respect.

The room cleaner was the one person who treated us well. I think his name was Islam, and he was kind, respectful, and did his work properly. The front desk experience, though, left a terrible first impression after our long trip. One receptionist was rude and unprofessional, wasted our time, and acted as if helping us was a burden. Reception staff need training in basic courtesy. Because of that experience, I wouldn't stay at GHALIA Hotel again or recommend it.
