The hotel has changed quite a bit lately. They’ve updated the interior with a more modern design, replaced all the wifi routers, and the speed is better than it used to be. They’ve also changed the room service.

This was a nightmare, and I couldn’t wait to leave. The rooms are tiny, with four single beds touching each other and barely any space left. It felt suffocating, like a cage. There are only three lifts, they’re overcrowded, and they take forever because of some messed-up system. People were so close they were sneezing right in my face. That made me very sick for four days. Maybe covid here, but I can’t be sure. No one offered to clean our room for six days. I had to ask five or six times over two days just to get it vacuumed and have the sheets changed. The service and people were rude. There was no sanitation, and the common restrooms on the M floor never had soap. No sprays or hand, lift, or other sanitation either. There were open nails behind the bed headboard and in the closet that could badly cut kids. This is an overcrowded, cheap hotel. Do NOT stay here.

The low price and closeness to the haram are the only real reasons to stay here. For a family, I’d say one or two nights at most because the rooms are small and there’s basically no service. We stayed two nights, complained at reception, and still nobody came to clean. There’s no breakfast included. On the first floor, there’s a small pantry area with what they call a restaurant. At reception there’s just one person, and often no one is there, so you have to go find the receptionist. Some staff don’t speak English, and the shifts change around the clock. It’s worth it only for the cheaper price and location.

The location is the main plus, with an easy, convenient walk to masjid e nabwi. The rooms and washrooms seem small, though, and the decor feels cramped. The room wifi is weak, and the air conditioner doesn’t work very well.
