The reception staff were rude and didn’t make an effort to understand us. It felt like the hotel was taking advantage of the large number of visitors, and at this price I’d rather stay in the masjid and use its facilities. The rooms were extremely cramped and uncomfortable. There was no space to lay down a prayer mat or even open a suitcase, and sleeping was very uncomfortable. The bathroom was filthy, and I doubt it had ever been cleaned. The elevators were another problem. Even with eight of them, one was out of order, some wouldn’t go to our floor, and they took ages to arrive or skipped the floor entirely. Honestly, you’d be better off staying in the masjid.

At least the hotel is still fairly close to the women’s gate of masjid annabawi. The rooms, though, are absurdly small for four single beds, even though they’re meant for two, and there wasn’t room to eat inside. Getting an elevator was a mess. You had to press all the buttons to get one, and we still got skipped. What kind of system is that, squid game? 😂 The dining area had only a minimal setup, and the tour agencies had to bring in food from outside caterers. So, what food?

The blanket smelled awful, the bathroom was filthy, and the plates at the horrible restaurant weren’t even washed properly. The bidet pipe leaked, and when we told the bellboy, he didn’t react. The bellboys were rude, and for a room of four they gave us just one key. There were no bathroom floor mats either. Other guests smoked in the hallway and staff did nothing. The hot water kept cutting out. And the elevator? There was so much to complain about, and they did nothing.

The one upside is the location, close to medina and mecca. Otherwise, the service was bad and the staff very rude. Rooms are tiny and noisy for the high prices, and the place gets crowded. The garage is so small you’d be lucky to find a spot. There’s barely any shampoo or soap, almost no other supplies, just a small fridge, and not even hangers. It’s also kind of dirty. Peace.

The cafe and restaurant are far too small for a hotel this large. There aren’t enough seats, and some people end up eating while standing. It’s a shame the management lets customers have this experience. The elevator service is also terrible: during peak hours, we waited up to an hour just to get upstairs.
