Sofitel Shahd Al Madinah

The suhoor spread was delicious, with so many options, and reception was excellent as usual. Jana is lovely and always helpful whenever I stay, and Ayoob Patel from the breakfast team was attentive and very helpful too. This was my fourth stay in the past year, alhamdulillah, and I keep coming back to spacious, comfortable rooms. I especially love the speakers in the rooms now, so you can hear salah and the adhan directly from Al-Masjid an-Nabawi. Such a thoughtful touch that adds to the spiritual experience. I’m looking forward to returning soon, inshaAllah.

I liked the design, rooms, and location, and this was my second stay. The room service staff were friendly and welcoming, and I appreciated the help getting a better price through a phone reservation. The restaurant service was less attentive than on my first visit. Both evenings of my two-night stay, some table covers were stained and certain tables seemed to get attention while others were missed. No one checked whether I wanted coffee or anything else from the buffet, so I had to ask myself. One staff member came over eventually, but quite late. At checkout I needed help with my luggage. I called reception and room service for about five minutes without an answer, then carried the bags downstairs myself.

We received a complimentary upgrade to a Junior Suite as Accor Gold members, which was a lovely surprise. It was spacious, elegantly appointed, and comfortable enough to feel like a sanctuary after a day of travel. Our two nights at the Sofitel Shahd Al Madinah were a highlight of the trip, and the staff were consistently polite and helpful with every request. The location is a major plus for visits to the Prophet’s Mosque. Gate 326 is an easy walk away, which saved us time and effort for prayers and visits. Between the room quality, recognition of elite status, and location near the Haram gates, this is an easy premium choice in Madinah. It was a flawless experience, and I’d be happy to return. It sets a high bar for the Sofitel brand in the region.

We left after six lovely nights just as satisfied as we had felt on arrival. Traveling with my family and parents, comfort and service mattered a lot, and the hospitality made us feel at home right away. Our room was kept spotless each day by the housekeeping team. The restaurant had delicious food and plenty of variety, with attentive, courteous, professional staff. Mr. Ashraf Hussein welcomed us at Sofitel Madinah with warmth and professionalism. Check-in was smooth, efficient, and heartfelt. Special thanks to Mr. Ashraf Hussein and Mr. Samer Khashuqgi for their dedication, careful attention, and genuine care throughout our stay. Sofitel Madinah offers a complete hospitality experience. We highly recommend it and hope to return, Insha Allah.
