My family and I waited in the lobby room for over 30 minutes just to get a key card. The lifts were unbearable.

The bathrooms were in awful shape, staff weren’t helpful, and the shuttle had no air conditioning. The hotel renamed itself Dar Salman, which made me think it was to stop people seeing the condition of the hotel online. Ask your travel agent for photos before you arrive.

We were told Masjid-E-Nabwi was 10 minutes away, but nobody mentioned the hotel was an hour’s walk from there. They offered a shuttle, but it wasn’t any help. This is a waste of time, money, and your ebadah. Don’t spend your time here. We’d only just arrived when we found the room hot and the AC not working. After I complained, staff took 20 minutes to respond, then brought a remote that was no use because the temperature was fixed at 25°C. I hate this experience.

At New Al-Samman Hotel, listed as Taif Taiba on Google, in Madina (Al-Awali Street), I had a serious safety problem in room 735. The water taps gave electric shocks. I told the hotel staff, but the issue still wasn’t fixed during my stay. This is extremely dangerous and needs immediate attention. Such negligence is unacceptable in a place meant for rest and comfort near Masjid E Nabvi. I hope management takes it seriously and resolves it so future guests aren’t harmed.

The rooms were neither clean nor hygienic, and the hotel wasn’t near masjid e nabawi. Worst hotel I’ve ever seen. Don’t book it. It’ll waste your time, money, and trip.
