Staff were excellent and very helpful. The rooms and amenities were only okay, and getting around takes ages, so it isn't ideal if you're far from where you need to be. There were some odd moments too, like being woken at 1 a.m. and asked if I wanted water.

I was feeling really unwell for much of the trip, and Muhannad at reception did everything he could to help. His kindness made a difficult stay much easier. Everyone else I interacted with was welcoming and kind too, and I felt looked after the whole time. Thank you all.

The rooftop birthday setup looked lovely in a TikTok video, so I went to the hotel on October 25th to arrange my friend’s birthday for November 6th. I wanted a simple setup with balloons and a small seating area, and booked the largest rooftop option for six people. At reception, the staff member was cold and dismissive. When I came back after looking at the options, he just told me to call reservations. That started a frustrating runaround. Reservations said guest relations could help, then said sales would call me. Nobody did, and a second call got me nowhere either. I returned in person and was given the sales number and told to call on Saturday. When I did, the sales guy answered rudely, saying he was having lunch and it wasn't his working hours. When I called the hotel to reach him through the official channel, he still wasn't helpful or welcoming. Eventually I was told I'd need to sign a contract and pay 5,000 SAR just to bring guests, on top of a premium rooftop suite that already costs over 2,000 SAR per night. The front desk attitude and the lack of follow-through were disappointing from the start. With service like that, they lost a customer. I canceled and won't return.
