Le Park Concord - Sakaka

During my business trip to Sakaka, I got to stay at this comfortable hotel. The reception, rooms, and team were all great, and the staff were very friendly and helpful.

This is reposted from my other account so I can keep all my reviews in one place. I went to Al Jouf on a school trip, and the school found this place, saying it was the best they could find. Honestly, no. The walls were so thin that every few minutes we'd hear noise from the next room or somewhere. The workers didn't clean, and I don't know why. I'm not sure if that was the school's fault or the hotel's, but either way, I don't care. The TVs worked fine, I guess, though I barely used mine. Every day I spent 10+ hours having motives and going crazy with everyone else, because the school just HAD TO. Breakfast was open, but it wasn't good and there were hardly any choices. Some things weren't even good breakfast options, and I barely ate the whole trip. There were no windows. When I tried to open the blinds, there was nothing, just those rocky-looking windows I don't know how to explain. Go see for yourself. The bathroom smelled awful, and I was too scared to shower in it. The fridge was empty when I opened it, which confused me. Usually hotels have a fridge filled with pringles and Kit Kats or something, I guess not this one. It was also weird that you needed a card to use the lights. Take it out and all the lights shut off, which was confusing. Even our bus, where we spent longer than at this place and which was THE main part of the field trip, was way roomier. And the double rooms are a LIE. There were two beds, sure, one really big and one really small. Sadly, I had to sleep in the small one. It was SO COLD, and now I'm sick. Do better, Le park Concordia. Do. Better.

The drain in my room needed fixing, but the morning shift staff member I asked didn't contact maintenance, so it stayed that way. My room also wasn't cleaned that day, and he seemed unprofessional, always frowning. Most of the front desk staff were unhelpful and unsympathetic, apart from one woman on the night shift. I was unwell and had a late flight followed by a long drive when I arrived. I asked to check out at 5 o'clock, just one hour after the usual 4:00 PM time. Even though I'd stayed three days and the hotel was nearly empty, they wouldn't make an exception. That lack of flexibility made things worse. Breakfast didn't start until 7:00 AM, too late for guests with work commitments. The breakfast itself was a set menu rather than a buffet, with few choices and poor quality for the price. My stay at Le Park Concord in Skaka was disappointing. I hope they address these issues for future guests.

Good service and a good hotel, though the rooms could be better.
