The location worked well for sightseeing, with a historical area nearby, and the beach about a 10 minute straight drive away. I was also pleasantly surprised that a light breakfast came with the room. Retaj is a very clean, decent place, and the rooms reminded me of some higher end hotels I’ve stayed in. The receptionist was helpful, and the rest of the staff paid attention to what we needed. We had no accommodation problems. The bathrooms were clean and worked properly, with plenty of towels. They could use replacing, but they were clean. The ACs worked, and there was a decent mini fridge.

I was happy with the stay, especially compared with hotels at a similar price, and I recommend it. I first booked one night, then added another for 16-17/12/2024. It’s a very nice small hotel. Saddam was exceptional, bringing water whenever we asked and giving us extra towels. The bedroom was clean and fully functional, and the breakfast served in the room was very nice. I was just surprised there were no dates in the country of dates.

For my diving trip in Yanbu, this place worked well for a couple of nights. It’s fairly clean and the staff were good. Nothing fancy, but that’s about what I’d expect from a three-star hotel. I’d stay here again.

The staff were very humble and helped us throughout the stay, and breakfast was a nice way to get set for the day. It’s also very close to Famous Almarsah. I’d recommend staying here when you visit Yanbu.
