Sunday by the pool was just right for relaxing, and the location made getting around easy. The rooms are comfortable and reasonably priced. We also loved eating by the sea, with lovely views and really good food. The bar has a lively feel, refreshing cocktails, and live entertainment. A fun place to unwind.

I only stopped at the upstairs bar, I didn’t stay at the hotel. It’s clean, has a good atmosphere, and the view is lovely. They sometimes have live music too. A nice place to unwind after a long workday.

The food was great once it finally arrived, but we waited two hours for dinner. A couple of orders had already been cancelled after being more than an hour late, and we stayed patient. It might be better to call ahead and order before coming to eat.

The Garden Restaurant serves great food, and the staff were warm and polite. The hotel itself is good, though the WiFi doesn’t reach every room. My ground-floor corridor smelled of cigarette smoke despite being a non-smoking area. Management could do better about that.

The staff were responsive and good, but the hotel is old and the restaurant food was only okay. There were some smells in the corridor and room; leaving the AC on should help clear them. The location is convenient, with shops and a pharmacy nearby, and it’s a useful midpoint in Honiara.
