Sanalae Apartment

Paying extra for a sea view got me a claustrophobic room with no view at all. Sea View Room 1 has frosted glass throughout, so you can’t even see outside. I raised this with Sanalae, but nothing was done, and I still had to pay the higher rate. Don’t book that room. A cheaper garden view room would be better, or stay somewhere else. I spent a week at Sanalae, and it was a long one. I won’t be back.

My family felt at home at Sanalae. The apartments are secure, clean, and well maintained, with cooking facilities and great wifi. The staff were so friendly, helpful, and accommodating. We bought fresh fruit and vegetables every day from roadside stalls nearby, and there’s a small shop close by as well. There are bbq facilities with a lovely oceanview. Thanks, Sanalae staff!

We loved the room and the great view, and the staff were friendly. The location is between the airport and city centre, with shops, ATMs, and a fuel station nearby, and the market isn’t far. The roads are the downside. We pray that good leaders with integrity will do something to seal them; that would earn more stars in the reviews. Thank you.

The rooms are clean and quiet, and the wifi works well. They’re more comfortable than plenty of much pricier hotels on the island. Everyone we dealt with, from reception and security to the cleaning staff, was warm and professional. The owner is a rare local, which I really appreciate. I’ll definitely come back. My top address on the island.
