Chloe's Cottage Self-Catering

It’s a little remote, but easy enough to get around by bike. The greenery and quiet made for a lovely stay, and the staff were welcoming and kind. We recommend having breakfast and renting a bike. If they offer you an old, rusty one, be sure to say you’d prefer the new one. The path from the harbor isn’t very luggage-friendly, so arranging their transfer is a must. One issue in our room was that the microwave and oven didn’t work well. Maybe consider an upgraded room if you don’t plan to rely on takeaway.

Chloe's Cottage is a comfortable, quiet place, and the people working there were exceptionally friendly and helpful. We enjoyed the breakfast we’d booked, and highly recommend staying here on La Digue. There was a reservation mix-up at first, so we were sent to another hotel just around the corner for two nights. To make up for the trouble, they gave us rides to and from the ferry and two days of biking for free. That seemed like a good compromise to us.

Although it’s away from town, it was quiet and just what we needed. We had a lovely stay at this beautiful guesthouse. Our hosts made us feel welcome, serving fresh fruit platters and juice when we arrived. Breakfast was delicious, and our room was spacious, clean, and comfortable. The self-catering facilities were very good. We liked relaxing and eating on the outside deck, and there was a wide selection of bikes to hire. Many thanks.

The pickup from the ferry was perfectly organized, and we had a really great stay at Chloes Cottage. It’s run by a friendly, helpful couple. When we had a problem with the bike, they repaired it within minutes. Breakfast had everything we needed: a different fruit platter each day, juice, toast, jam, tea, coffee, eggs, and a sweet dessert. It was lovely to eat on the veranda outside our room. I can definitely recommend the place.
