A quick note: there are two Zerofs on the island. One is a more traditional guest house, hotel, and restaurant, while this one is a self-catering, Airbnb-style house. Both are great and run by the same group. I stayed at the guest house on my first trip and chose self-catering this time. The homes are clean, spacious, and safe, with large porches and a shared laundry room. A few adorable cats hang around near the laundry, so bring them food and give them some scratches.

The accommodation deserves 5 stars, but breakfast gets 1. They told us it started at 8, yet we weren't served until 9:30. They also didn't ask how we wanted our eggs, just brought whatever they'd decided to make that day.
