Belle Des Iles

We stayed for 3 nights. The guy from Sri Lanka, whose name I’ve forgotten, was so lovely and kind to our daughter. The pool is small but fine. It’s in the middle of the island, so by bike you can get anywhere in about 15 minutes. I’m taking off a star for breakfast. We’d spent 3 weeks in Seychelles before this and had much better breakfasts everywhere else. For all 3 days, it was exactly the same as what you see in the photos, for me, my wife, and our daughter. What a pity. Another star off for the older owner. I asked him for the second time that evening when the electricity would come back because I had to work, and he was very unfriendly. You can’t speak to clients that loudly over a normal question after the Wi-Fi had been out all day and I couldn’t work. He offered no solution or apology. He said his son in the neighbourhood had a generator, but why doesn’t he have one with all the money from tourists? What exists at the neighbour’s house doesn’t help me. We’re now at Orchid in la Digue, where the lady is so friendly and helpful when there’s a problem. The dinner and breakfast are great. Go there, it’s much friendlier.
