Grann Kaz

We spent our entire 2 week holiday on Mahe here and have no complaints. The rooms are really clean and nicely designed, and when we had a restroom problem, the staff responded quickly and fixed it. The manager also carefully explained how to get around Seychelles by bus and suggested the best places to visit on Mahe Island. One of the best hotels we’ve stayed in. We’d definitely stay here again if we travel to Seychelles, which we probably will. Highly recommend it.

Anse La Mouche beach is beautiful, and Grann Kaz made for a lovely 5 night stay. The staff were always around, kind, welcoming, and helpful. The rooms are very spacious, with a nice kitchen, fridge, and bathroom, and they had everything we needed. Breakfast is absolutely worth having. A rental car helps if you want to explore the whole island, and the price is very fair. We’ll definitely return.

We stayed a week with our three kids and really enjoyed it. The house, inside and out, is kept so clean that we felt like taking our shoes off before going in. Staff spend a lot of time cleaning the rooms and shared spaces. The kids quickly made the roughly 6m pool their favorite spot. There’s also a small pavilion with sunbeds where you can get out of the sun. Breakfast starts at 8am and is the usual island mix of fruit, juice, coffee or tea, eggs, and toast, but it was great. The fruit changed each day, the coffee was fresh and the best I tried on Mahe, the toast was perfectly browned, and they served real butter rather than the margarine you often get. When the kids lost interest in the eggs, staff kindly offered cereal instead. The house is about 400m straight from the main(beach) road, which makes it quiet. The nearby beach is shallow, from knee to shoulder depth depending on tides. A car is strongly recommended to explore other beaches nearby, including Ansei Solei and Petit Ansei.
