Debbie was so kind and helpful, and always available. We had a wonderful stay in the spacious villa, with two bedrooms, each with its own bathroom, and a huge living room opening onto a big terrace with beautiful scenery. We loved sitting outside and watching the friendly wildlife, including a bat resting on the banana tree and colorful birds on the railing. The terrace view was absolutely breathtaking.

Debbie was wonderfully helpful, and we found the prices reasonable. Everything we needed for a comfortable stay was readily available. Sailfish Beach Villas was our first stop after landing in Seychelles, and we were smiling from the moment we arrived. It's in a calm, quiet neighborhood on gentle hills along West Coast Road. There are good restaurants nearby; we tried Kapatya and liked it.

Debbie and Hubert welcomed us warmly and shared some ideas for things to do on the island. The terrace view was the main reason we booked, and it really is great. The villa felt a little too big for two, though for four people it could be a great choice, especially at the price we got. We still had a pleasant stay, but a few things could be improved. The main living area had no AC, and even though it was the end of Seychelles winter and not that hot, it was uncomfortable. A ceiling fan or two would have helped. The existing floor vent barely did anything unless you stood right in front of it, so the air-conditioned bedroom was the only comfortable room. There was no room service on weekends, and since we stayed over the weekend, we had none at all. The shower was in a bathtub, and no shampoo or soap was provided.

The owners were lovely and did everything they could to make our vacation comfortable. One of them even went to the shop to buy bus tickets for us. The location was really nice, with the beach about a 10-15 minute walk away, though the heat made it feel much longer. If you can drive, I'd advise hiring a car, since walking takes ages to get places in Seychelles. Bring your own toiletries and detergent if you plan to do laundry. We stayed two nights and were so busy getting around that we didn't manage to take photos of the property.
