Villa Kayola - Self Catering

The owner is extremely kind, welcoming, and nice. The rooms are cozy, with a comfortable bed and couch, and have everything they need. There’s a balcony and two other spots with incredible beach views, at least from my room’s perspective. Beach-view hotels are the best kind, and this is the perfect place to stay in Seychelles. I’d recommend it 5/5 if you’re exploring Africa, end up in Seychelles, and need somewhere to stay.

The owner is extremely nice and gave us local fruit and avocados for free. He also rescues animals, so if you want, you can cuddle seven cats and three dogs. The neighborhood is beautiful, up in the hills with an incredible view. There’s a big balcony and two other places to enjoy the surroundings. The rooms are comfortable and have everything they need. It’s perfect, big recommendation.

We only stayed one night and wished we could have stayed longer. The hospitality was amazing, and our room was super clean. We could also use the balcony, which had a beautiful sea view. We weren’t expecting anything, but the hotel still surprised us, and that shouldn’t be taken for granted. We can only recommend this place. Thanks for having us!

We stayed five nights and really enjoyed our time with Jimmy, who was a great host and cook. The view was great, though walking up the hill can be challenging. If you’re coming from the airport, contact Jimmy to arrange a car, which is cheaper than a taxi.
