Paradise Sun

The beachfront location is a real strength, with lovely ocean views from the well-appointed rooms. We also enjoyed the dinners, which had different themed menus each night and good variety and quality. Most staff were friendly and service-minded, though some seemed disengaged, and that inconsistency took away a little from the stay. Breakfast was adequate but limited, and we expected more choice at a property of this caliber. The WiFi was our biggest frustration. Coverage was terrible across the property, we kept getting disconnected, and having to reconnect manually over and over became tiresome. The hotel should prioritize making it reliable. When the service was good, we had a pleasant time, and improving the WiFi and consistency of staff engagement would make the property much better.

The beach location was fantastic, and it’s one of the cleanest beaches in Praslin. Staff were helpful and accommodating, and the property has some decent activities for guests to enjoy. My one suggestion is a later check-out. At 10:00 am it feels too early; by industry standards it should be at least 12:00 pm, so guests can enjoy the property more.

Everywhere in the resort, whatever the time or staff member, we were met with remarkable warmth and attentiveness. That really made our stay special. Paradise Sun is in a beautiful, quiet bay, and we had a wonderful time. The rooms were clean and beautiful, the food was delicious, and there were daily activities. The hotel itself is picture-perfect, and we highly recommend staying here.

The staff were kind, attentive, and helpful throughout, and the themed dinner buffets offered plenty of high-quality choices. Breakfast was excellent too, with lots to choose from and fresh juices every day. We loved the dining area right at the beach, especially its sand floor, and the well-kept garden and grounds added to the relaxed feel. A lovely hotel in a beautiful beachfront spot. John at the beach kiosk was super friendly and funny when we booked activities there. The hour-long nature walk was a must: very informative, with local plants to smell or taste, and a fun coconut tasting. The room was nice, though ground-floor rooms don’t have much privacy. It would help if the glass door locked separately, so you could leave the wooden door open at night for the view or morning sun. I’d suggest booking a first-floor room. We had a fantastic stay and would recommend the hotel.
