Rosemary's Guesthouse

We were very happy at Rosemary’s Guesthouse. The location was right on the beach, beside a very good supermarket, and the garden had an outdoor shower that was handy for rinsing off. When we arrived, we could choose an upstairs or downstairs apartment. We picked the one with the most beautiful sea view. Herbert helped with our luggage and was helpful throughout our stay. Breakfast was a real highlight: fresh fruit smoothie every morning, coffee or tea, and eggs made to order. The coffee was instant, though. A couple of things could have been more comfortable. The air conditioning was slow and struggled to cool the whole apartment, especially on the first very hot day. The mattress felt old, and we didn’t sleep very comfortably. Each person had just one pillow, and they were quite soft. Herbert was always kind and attentive, and did what he could to help. We had a wonderful stay and would gladly return.

The rooms are simple and clean, though the place isn’t the newest or fanciest. What makes it work are the location and the lovely owners and staff. Definitely book a sea-view room if you can, the upgrade is worth it. My mum and I had a really nice time at Côte d’Or and enjoyed Praslin. Thanks to Herbert and the team for making us feel at home.

A comfortable room, good breakfast, and a very friendly owner who helped us with excursions. The water at the beach was quiet and shallow, and the beach was only 20 meters away. For us, this was the best place to stay on Praslin.

We spent a couple of nights here and loved it. The room had a beautiful view, the location was great, and Herbert was really helpful.
