Haus Lappland

The house had everything we needed, and the landlord kept it in good shape with regular renovations. We stayed for nine months, and both the neighbors and landlord were really helpful. We’d happily return and highly recommend it.

We had a wonderful two weeks at Haus Lappland with friends during Indian Summer, with fantastic weather and plenty of beautiful nature and scenery. There were reindeer everywhere, and at Reivo Nature Reserve we got to watch a moose cow and calf from about 30 meters away. We also picked mushrooms and loads of blueberries for our meals. The house is well equipped with everything you need, and Bill looks after it so well. The owners were helpful too, with great advice. This was our second vacation here: our first visit was in winter, and it was simply magical. Thanks for everything. We’ll try to come back!

The grand finale was a dogsled tour that we drove ourselves, and there was a barbecue hut on the snowmobile trip too. We also saw the Northern Lights, crossed the Arctic Circle, and met so many lovely people up here. There were moose, snow hares, and reindeer. After our bush taxi got stuck in the snow during a moose test, an actual reindeer herder came to help us out. The house is great, in a perfect location, and has everything you need. With that distance from home, the holiday felt like a real adventure. 🐕🐕🐕🐕🐕⛄⛄⛄⛄

Really lovely cottage. Shame it only has German TV channels, with not one Swedish channel.
