We paid €170 per night and felt let down by what we got for the money. At a nearby hotel, we found much more modern rooms and friendlier service for only €100. This place advertises a far higher standard, but our stay felt like two-star accommodation at best. The rooms were clean, though clearly dated. Service was acceptable, but neither especially attentive nor welcoming, and the food was decent but seriously overpriced. I can only recommend staying here with reservations, especially if value for money matters to you.

The rooms are nicely decorated, clean and convenient, and the staff are friendly and very helpful. Parking is right in front of the entrance, and breakfast has an outstanding range of options. We could open the windows, but couldn’t secure them in the position we wanted, so in the end we wedged the remote control in to let in fresh air. Dinner was okay. We skipped the offered menu and ordered without much planning, and the food came freshly cooked and piping hot. Breakfast coffee was a real letdown: the barista machine was broken, so there was no cappuccino or freshly brewed coffee. The tank-brewed coffee was disgusting, though apparently common with the locals.

We stopped here while visiting family in Sweden and really enjoyed how relaxed it was, especially given the low prices. The staff were friendly and helpful, and there’s a nice sauna as well as a mini football table and ping pong. Breakfast was great, and I’d definitely recommend dinner too. Parking and electric charging are free, so it’s a great place to stay while travelling.

I missed my connecting train and ended up staying for one night. The room was spacious, with a full-size fridge in the kitchen and a nice balcony at the back. I was really happy with the bathroom, which was impressively new and clean. There’s a great selection at breakfast too, and parking is available if you drive. Definitely a good place to stay.
