Sure Hotel by Best Western Dalhall

We stayed two nights with two of my children. The basic amenities were mostly what I expected, but the room was badly cleaned and very dusty. Worst of all, there were two dry snus pouches near the bed. Disgusting. It was hard to find anyone to discuss it with since reception rarely had staff. When I finally found a staff member and showed her the pictures, she just said, essentially, “Oh. That’s unfortunate.” There was no apology and no offer of a refund or any compensation. I can’t recommend staying here.

Back in May-June 1994, I spent six weeks in the top floor suite. It was clean, comfortable, and a nice place. The windows on all four sides meant sunlight came in from 3:00 am until 1:00 am around June 21, which was quite something. I can’t really say what it’s like now, 21 years later.

It doesn’t match the impression from the publication. I mean both the outdoor surroundings and location, especially for people who don’t know åmål, and the luxury level inside. The photos give a somewhat different impression, in my opinion. Thanks for reading and considering my criticism.

A really nice place to stay, with super helpful service. We had a very good visit, and it’s a nice stop on the way to a skiing resort in "fjeldet".
