It's always cozy and beautiful here, and still one of the best places in the area. The food was a little odd this year. I didn't stay, so I can't rate the rooms, though I've heard they're good.

The place is stunning, but the bar staff could be a little nicer and more relaxed. It's the main winter season now, and the bartender got my drink order wrong, didn't even apologize, then acted annoyed when I asked to put the payment on one card instead of two.

Gustav at reception made our stay especially memorable. He was attentive and went out of his way to track down my jacket, find my husband's mobile number, and post it back to us in London. That kind of kindness and service gives you hope. Thank you so much. Everyone was helpful, and we’d happily recommend the hotel. We were there for a wedding in Åre in February 2025 and had a lovely stay. The facilities and food were great, especially breakfast: delicious local specialties, cloudberries, cheeses, and all the different crispbreads. We also loved the formal restaurant.

Åre, Sweden is spectacular, in one of the best parts of the world. We had skiing, cross-country skiing, snowmobiling, dog sledding, and ice driving to choose from. I imagine summer here is spectacular too!

The staff were really friendly and helpful. On my checkout day they gave me a key so I could use the sauna room for a shower after skiing. The location is ideal: about a three-minute walk to the train station and Åre Torg, with Stadium Rental across the street and the lift nearby. My room was very clean.
