Lapland Lodge

The owner and staff gave us a really lovely weekend. The whole family went, and the kids were very happy with how they were treated too. An amazing place, full stars.

For 795 SEK we got a room with two beds and a bathroom, just what we needed. It was an unusually nice stay for the price, with a cozy feel, modern rooms and building, really nice staff, and a superb breakfast, better than some hotels I’ve stayed at. There’s a sauna too, if that’s your thing.

The restaurant food was fantastic, and there are lots of activities available. Our rooms were cozy, with a lovely old Swedish style. The hotel could be better organized, though. We noticed that staff often seemed unsure how to handle things, especially at reception, such as activity arrangements and costs.

The beds were so comfortable that after those long hours in the car, you could easily sleep in and wake up feeling brand new. Even then, the staff would serve an excellent breakfast. They’re friendly, full of positive energy, and happy to point you toward nature nearby. Try the poke bowls and the good range of gin. It’s a perfect place to experience Lapland, and the lodge seems well equipped for winter activities. We’re planning to come back in winter for ice drifting and snowmobiles. Sounds like a lot of fun. We’ll definitely return, it left us with great memories. You can’t miss it!
