Breakfast and a small restaurant were the only services. The rooms smelled bad enough to give me a headache, and there was no sauna or gym. I couldn't find running tracks nearby either.

The owners made the visit memorable, sharing plenty about the hotel's past and the area's history. My room was on the small side, but comfortable, and I slept well. I was there for one night while doing genealogical research nearby. Dinner was around 500 SEK if you chose to order it. We had a hearty tomato soup, then salmon provencal with tomatoes, zucchini, potatoes and more. Dessert was white chocolate cake with what I think was a layer of chocolate mousse, followed by coffee. I really enjoyed the meal. The rural setting felt lovely, and the relaxed atmosphere, food and service had a civilized feel to them. I'll stay there again when I'm back in the Lerback area. Recommended.

The bathroom could use an update, and ours smelled a little odd. It also didn't look like the photos on the website. The room itself was good, though, and we had a pleasant stay. The hotel sits in peaceful, beautiful surroundings, not far from Örebro. Visingsö is about a 2 1/2-hour drive away. The owners were friendly, and breakfast was simple but good.

The homemade dinner was wonderful, and having a private lake made our relaxing stay even better. The host and his family were very kind, and PerOlofGården is well placed for exploring the area around Örebro, Lake Vättern and Tiveden National Park. We had a very good time and would happily come back.

A peaceful spot for relaxing, and still not too far from Örebro. The food was yummy, the staff helpful, and I really enjoyed my time there.
