The room was spacious and looked nice, but it was impossible for us to sleep properly. Each of the three windows had a curtain that was too small, so light came in from the building behind the hotel at night and from the sun, which rose around 5:15 in the morning. I complained, but staff only came to reattach a few loose hooks, which didn't help. They just apologized for the inconvenience. Nobody offered another room or any kind of reimbursement, and we couldn't sleep because of the light. The bed was another problem. It was so soft and bouncy that when one of us turned over, the other bounced around too. We sank into it and rolled into a sort of hollow in the middle. The location wasn't appealing, between apartment blocks and office buildings. We arrived late at night, and even our taxi driver seemed uneasy leaving us there. He waited until we'd found the entrance and gotten inside. We should have checked the location more carefully before booking, but still. Public transport is a 10 minute walk away.

We were left outside our room for more than two hours, with no communication, and ended up stranded at 2am having to find somewhere else to stay. The codes weren't working because of their fault, but they kept saying there was nothing they could do. The service on the phone was horrible. Truly horrible.

There was no check-in and I hadn't received any door codes. Fortunately, there was a phone number on the door to call. The taxi driver couldn't find the place, and the sign is tiny, see photo. Just follow Google Maps. It is the building that looks like an office unit.

First I didn't get the main door code, then I wasn't assigned a room, and then the codes I got were wrong. I was stuck sitting in the hallway for two hours at the hotel where I'd booked my nights, before leaving to find somewhere else. I must get a full refund. The service was unbelievably poor, the worst ever. If I could give zero stars, I would.

The host was great and replied quickly, which made things easy. We were there with our three kids, and the apartment was comfortable and had everything we needed. It's close to everything, with just a short walk to the metro. Honestly, a perfect stay for us, and we'd definitely come back.
