The little cabins are old, but ours was comfortable enough and came with a fan, small fridge, and clean sheets and towels. It’s really a tiny campsite with eight cabins, not a hotel. Using a green patch in the middle of town is a clever idea, and there’s a Lidl almost across the street, with the owners’ pizzeria next door. We needed somewhere pet-friendly for one night, but this was by far the most expensive place we’ve ever stayed. The 200 SEK pet fee didn’t include anything, not even a bowl for our dog or cat.

The owner is a super friendly man, and the place was well above what I expected. I just needed a bed for two days of work travel, and for the price this is probably the best place I’ve stayed so far. It’s simple, clean, and fresh, in a nice area close to the centre. The room had what I needed, including internet, coffee, and shampoo. Some rooms are cute little cabins.

They’d already emailed to approve my reservation, but then cancelled it for “lack of payment” without contacting me. I had selected “offline payment,” so I expected to pay on arrival or another way after they got in touch. I can’t get a reply on Facebook or by email, and there’s nothing in English, so I have to translate everything.

We stayed in a bungalow that was fine for summer, and there was parking. Breakfast is simple and you have to order it. The commander was friendly. As for the rating, it earns its three stars without hesitation.
