I especially liked having a guest kitchen, since I could make my own meals, and the sauna was a welcome way to relax at the end of the day. Breakfast was delicious too, better than I expected. Avesta Stadshotell has a classic, charming feel, with fresh, spacious rooms in the city center near the shopping center. The staff were incredibly friendly and made the stay in Avesta wonderful. It seems like a great fit for work or a quiet break in a small Swedish city within reach of Stockholm. I'd gladly recommend it for its comfort and convenient location.

The bathroom had the worst smell I've ever encountered in a hotel, the rooms weren't very clean, and the bed was far too soft. The pillow was ridiculously small. For what it costs, the value is terrible. Stay away!
