I can't say anything more about the house itself, because it was double-booked. It sits on an isolated, neglected property. We waited outside the door in pouring rain for two hours, unable to reach the landlady. Her brother happened to pass by, and after many calls he finally got through to her. She didn't seem surprised or ask to see our booking confirmation, so it seemed she knew the house had been booked twice. After a lot of back and forth, she put us in a hotel room instead, for the same price as the entire house. That was frustrating since we'd packed and shopped differently for a house, and after a ten-hour drive we really missed having a kitchen. The hotel was so remote that we went to bed hungry.
