The owner was kind and helpful. A great place to pause during our Vänerleded bike tour.

You can swim by the house and rent canoes. The hostel is surrounded by Dalsland Canal and Lake Laxsjön. Breakfast in the villa is simple but perfectly acceptable, and there’s a clean kitchen for cooking your own meals and clean rooms.

The surroundings were nice, but the interior was quite boring. The kitchen is in a separate building behind the villa and smelled so bad that eating there wasn’t possible. The fridge had a rotten smell too. Breakfast felt like a Corona trap for several reasons, so we skipped it.
