Queen's Hotel by First Hotels

We were a family of four in a room on the third floor for a week. There was enough room for us, but finding space for all our luggage was a challenge. The wooden floor was cleaned daily. The shower room was tight, and my hands kept hitting the glass door while I showered. The location is very good, right by the pedestrian area connecting the hotel to Gamla Stan, and close to metro stations, shops, and restaurants.

I didn’t rest well here. My street-facing room was noisy in the evenings and mornings, and when large cars went past, the whole floor shook. The shower temperature was hard to keep steady, and morning cleaning outside was very loud. Breakfast was basic. It’s an old hotel. The room itself was okay, but the door malfunctioned and I couldn’t get out for 20 minutes at first.

Queens Hotel felt authentic and welcoming, and the central Stockholm location was perfect. My room was cozy, clean, and had what I needed. Breakfast was fresh, varied, and delicious, and the staff were friendly, attentive, and always ready to help. I felt right at home and had a memorable stay. I’ll definitely come back again and again.

We left too early to try breakfast, but they gave us a box with a sandwich and fruit. The staff were lovely, friendly, and helpful. Rooms are small but very clean. The hotel is surrounded by restaurants, and it’s an easy 15-minute walk to the central train station, mostly along pedestrian streets.
