It feels like a proper family break here, with facilities nearby and a beach you can walk to for the views, a game of mini golf or an ice cream. The resort makes the bay setting on Öland even nicer. Though it’s not far from the mainland, the air and atmosphere give it a different-country feel. A good choice for couples, families, or anyone wanting to switch off from daily routines and relax.

The breakfast was alright, and the golf course is good, but the food was horrible. I visited a few times in summer, and the meals seemed repetitive, with many things coming from the freezer rather than being freshly made. Service was nice, but there were only two workers for 100 people. As a business owner, I’d say they were definitely understaffed. Prices were far too high and unreasonable.

Öland in Sweden has a breathtaking natural landscape, and the resort brings tradition together with refined luxury. I highly recommend discovering the hidden gems of the destination and the resort.

We didn’t meet a single friendly or polite staff member during our stay. The apartment was dirty and felt unfresh, with a really low standard for the price. It badly needs renovation, and unfortunately breakfast was the same.

Friendly, helpful staff, and a lovely hotel I’ll most certainly stay at again. The tricky part is getting people and bags up to the entrance, since the parking is some distance away. That’s especially difficult for anyone with mobility issues or a lot of luggage.
