Ronald was a wonderful host, sharing lots of helpful details about the region, including cross-country ski trails, hiking routes, and grocery stores. We stayed in the cozy Mockfjärd chalet at Sifferbo Stugby during the last week of Feb24. It was clean and just right for two. We could borrow snow shoes and use the sauna as well. We had a great stay and would love to return.

We stayed with Ronald for five nights, and the clean cottage had everything we needed. Since my husband is 2 meters tall, we were even offered a different cottage to make things more comfortable. The area makes a lovely starting point for walks and excursions. If you have hearing loss, the road can be heard in the distance throughout the day, though it didn't take away a star for me. Thanks, Ronald. We'll recommend the place to friends and colleagues.

The cottages are kept very clean and in good shape, and Ronald is a really friendly host who serves a delicious breakfast each morning. There are lovely walks in the beautiful surroundings, plus snowmobile tours and husky safaris nearby. Borlänge and Falun are close enough for downhill or cross-country skiing. Sifferbo Stugby is fantastic and well worth recommending.
