I was scared for a while, but thank goodness it didn’t turn out like the hostel movie.

I paid little, but those beds were so hard they’ve left my whole body aching, as if I’d slept on wooden planks. The room was a mess too. There was a chip packet on the bed, and the bedding was still there from the previous guest, so I had to clear it away before making the bed myself. That bed really wrecked my back and body.

The bathrooms were barely usable, and we couldn't even enjoy the dining area. A few people staying there for a construction project in town had taken over the kitchen and refrigerators when we arrived for dinner. This place seems suited to construction workers passing through. Such a shame.
