The spa was a lovely part of our winter stay, with a heated pool, dry and steam saunas, and outdoor geothermal pools. The place felt calm and cozy, the staff were nice, and dinner was good with quiet music in the background. We also liked the park view and the building's blend of vintage furnishings, wallpaper, and paintings with more modern decor. The heating worked well. Our package covered dinner, spa access, an overnight stay, and breakfast the next morning. Dinner service was the one real snag. We waited an hour and a half for our main course while the other diners around us had already eaten, so I eventually had to find a waiter and ask about our food. Another waiter apologized and offered dessert on the house, which was a kind gesture. By then, though, we'd already spent two hours on the meal and were too tired to wait for dessert. We still had a very nice stay and hope to come back.

The restaurant was very good and the food was perfect, though the staff there could have been more welcoming. I can't say much positive about the room, and I could hear the neighbor talking and snoring.

The spa attendant was really friendly. Our room got quite hot in the afternoon sun, and reception kindly lent us a fan. In the restaurant, evening service was close to rude. The lady at the bar...

The historic buildings and interiors are beautifully kept, and the small spa is thoughtfully designed and very relaxing. I had a peaceful, lovely stay at Mössebergs Kurort. The staff were warm, friendly, and helpful the whole time. I also appreciate that the hotel is run by the non-profit foundation Bräcke Diakoni, which gives the experience added meaning. A great choice for a quiet, authentic getaway.
