The Lodge

The rooms are cozy and the service is excellent, but Honulele Spa was the real highlight for me. The pool and tropical feel are top notch, easily among the best spas I’ve visited. A perfect reset getaway 🧖‍♀️

The lunch was delicious, and the spa ritual itself was lovely. We came as six, and our therapist was warm, upbeat, caring, and very professional. She made us feel relaxed and looked after, so we left refreshed and happy. The awkward part came afterward. We wanted coffee and cake, but a staff member assumed those of us speaking English wouldn't understand and told a colleague, quite openly and rudely, that our time was up and we should leave. The restaurant was empty, and nobody had mentioned a time limit. When I asked someone else, they said guests could stay only 30 minutes after treatment. We would have skipped lunch and dessert and gone somewhere we felt more welcome if we'd known. Clearer information about the rules, and a better approach from staff, would make a big difference. It's a shame, because only small changes seem needed for the whole visit to feel great.

It’s a beautiful, unusual place in an amazing setting. The spa is compact but has what you need, including a sauna, infinity pool, and relaxing water beds. The pool seemed unclean on the day we visited, though maybe it was just that day, and it was far too crowded. The next day we had rashes all over our bodies and faces, like hot tub rash. There’s only one pool and it isn’t very big, so be aware. Hygiene may not be the best, and staff should keep a closer eye on it.

A quiet, lovely little spa tucked into nature in the middle of Skåne. The facilities are adequate, the food is good, and there are treatments to choose from. We found it perfect for an overnight getaway. Give the Honulele ritual a try.
