I’ve been skiing here since I was a kid, and I’m 41 now. I guess I’m done skiing 😂 They work on the slopes every night and keep them in shape for the next day, so you can have a lot of fun here.

The slope itself was great, but the clothing rental staff member we dealt with was unpleasant. We told her we’d never skied before, and she didn’t explain what we needed or offer any advice. She didn’t even show us how to put the boots on. It felt like we were bothering her 🙂

The little restaurant was great, and renting skis was easy. It’s especially good for beginners and kids, and I’d recommend coming for a few days of skiing.

Charlottenberg market is about a 10-minute drive away, which is handy. The accommodation has lots of sleeping space, a working kitchen and toilets with enough amenities. I’d make it my first choice if I’m in the area again.

We really like the place, and the free kids’ slopes are a nice bonus. There are benches to sit on and spots for grilling, and you can get food at the restaurant too. We had the best host, Tor Bjørn, at Drombyn.
