Backpackers Goteborg

The hostel is amazing, super clean and friendly, and the location is top. There’s even a private sauna. Every single person working here was so kind, thoughtful and willing to help, and they made my month here beautiful. You can be proud of who you are. Thank you so much, and I hope to see you soon! I definitely recommend Backpackers Göteborg. I stayed twice, and the staff were welcoming and kind both times. I met some fantastic people and joined activities the hostel offered, like barhopping and a yoga lesson. Wish you all the best! ✨

The Wi-Fi is amazing and fast. The bathrooms are a bit strange because some have a shower and some don’t. The kitchen is tiny, but it never gets crowded, so it’s great for cooking, though not for making friends. It’s about 25 minutes on foot to where most people are in the city, or you can take the tram, but it’s too expensive. The centre is a bit far, though I value being just two blocks from a gorgeous park more.

As a solo female traveler, I felt comfortable and welcome here. The staff were extremely friendly and kind. My room was small but had everything I needed, and the bathrooms were single-user and outside the bedrooms. There was a great kitchen and communal space too. I had a great stay and highly recommend it for budget travel.
