Decent enough, but the beds weren’t great and the Wi-Fi was unusable the whole stay. The tram is out of service this month, which is a pain. Normally, getting around is probably fine.

There are very few tent spots, and it was noisy early in the morning, including from the horse fence and even staff on small motor wheels. I’d suggest staying in one of the small stuga or houses instead. The public shower was poor, you push a button to spray and it stops again after a second, so showering was a struggle. Booking ahead was quite difficult because the website doesn’t show prices. Hope it’s better next time. Thank you 🙏🏻

Stjärnbyn is a cozy little house in the forest, while still being close to the city, and it was good value for money. The staff were very friendly. You can also request a sauna for an extra fee. The bathroom looks a little dated, but everything works fine. We’d definitely stay again.

The room and bathroom were clean, and there was a safe place to park my motorcycle. I stayed for one night in the hostel section before taking the ferry to Danemark. A big issue for me as a woman traveling alone: please train the team to think carefully about room placement. I know it isn’t always possible, but it was that evening. I was put between the men’s bathroom and rooms occupied only by men. The women’s bathroom was across the building, and I didn’t feel comfortable showering there, especially after realizing the rooms on the other side were unoccupied.
