Hostel Snoozemore

The bed was fantastic, firm and made up with a proper pillow and blanket. Hisingen Hostel is cleaner than an average hostel, modern, and well maintained. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful with everything. The bathrooms and showers are shared, but each is in its own lockable little room for more privacy. Trams and buses are just a short walk away, making it easy to get around. I’d recommend this hostel to anyone.

There’s no breakfast, though guests can have free tea and coffee. The staff were friendly, and our room was clean when we arrived. The kitchen and shared bathroom and shower areas were tidy too. We were two adults and a three-year-old, staying three nights in a room with three bunk beds and our own bathroom. The hostel provided bedsheets and towels for free because of the length of our stay. It’s easy to reach from the central station, with a nice playground right outside, plus a supermarket and a few restaurants nearby. I especially recommend the Vietnamese restaurant.

I’ve stayed in hostels before, and this is my favorite. It’s bright, clean, and the beds and pillows felt made for me. There are lots of channels to choose from. The bathrooms are in the same area as the four showers, while the toilets are divided by gender, so there’s privacy in the shared spaces. Central station is ten minutes away by train. You can’t open the windows, but I understand it’s for security since the hostel is on the main floor.

Willys Supermarket is just across the street, and the hostel has a fully equipped kitchen. The place was very clean and quiet, with professional staff, and it was easy to get around. There are lots of restaurants around the square. Highly recommend!
