I had a great two-week stay. The room was very clean, and so was the shared kitchen, which was incredibly well equipped. The laundry room came in very handy for a longer visit. They were flexible about letting me check in early and about my partner visiting for the weekend, with an extra bed available for a low price. I’ll definitely stay again if I come back to Gothenburg!

The room was nice and the location worked well. There was some noise from the school, though. When we first came in, the bathroom smelled bad, like it hadn't been used for a while. It should be flushed and cleaned between stays when nobody's there. The bathroom was also a bit small, and I would've liked more shower soap.

We got a 50% refund through booking.com in the end, after they agreed the photos were false advertising. During our December 2024 stay for the Christmas markets, the room looked nothing like the pictures on booking.com, and I felt we'd been massively overcharged from the moment we checked in. The person handling customer service was no help and was quite rude to me on the phone. They said the online photos showed just one specific room, clearly their best one. I attached photos to show the difference. They said they couldn't move us to a better room because the place was fully booked, and wouldn't refund any of my money directly.

There are lots of cafes quite close by, and the neighbourhood is easy to get around. Our room and bathroom on floor 2 were great, and the kitchen was clean and fully equipped. There were only a couple of TV channels, which didn't matter much, though it would've been nice to connect a mobile phone or something. Would recommend.
