Hotel Waterfront

Breakfast was excellent, and the parking fee seemed reasonable. Though the hotel is a little outside the city centre, you can walk to a tram that goes to the central station. We were pleasantly surprised at check-in when a very friendly receptionist told us we'd been upgraded to a high-floor room with a sea view. Room 728 was somewhat older but well kept and very clean. It had an iron, mini fridge, coffee machine, and hairdryer, plus a lovely view. They'd also left soft drinks, chocolates, and a kind note in the room, more than I could have imagined for a bonus night. Highly recommended, and we'll definitely return. We were one adult and two children.

My room was clean and modern, the beds were comfy, and it had what I needed. The lobby especially has a cozy feel, and the staff were friendly and accommodating. Breakfast was pleasant, with plenty of variety, though pretty mediocre, like you'd find at any hotel of this sort. The gym was my main gripe. It's a very small space, and much of the equipment needs maintenance or wasn't working properly, so don't expect much there. Otherwise, thank you very much! :)

That breakfast is what really made this place stand out. There were truly all kinds of options and more, and I want to come back just for it. The location is good for central downtown too, a five-minute walk to the tram or a 15-minute bike ride downtown. I came from Canada for four nights and was used to the North American version of “Quality Inn and Suites,” which isn't anything amazing. This place was top notch by comparison. The staff were so friendly and welcoming, the room was a good size with a very nice look, and there was a great spa and small gym space. If I find myself in Gothenburg again, I'll return!

The room was extremely clean and comfortable, and the front desk clerks were more than nice, friendly, and accommodating. They were all smiles, gave great service, and made us feel at home. Breakfast was incredible, and so were the women working in the dining area. We also had a great dinner at the restaurant. The hotel has a wonderful view of the water and the gorgeous bridge, which looked amazing at night with all the lights. What an awesome experience. I'd absolutely recommend staying here, you'll be more than pleased.
