We spent two nights at the campsite and loved it. You’re surrounded by nature, yet still fairly close to the city centre. There’s a lovely little beach nearby, and the atmosphere is great. Staff are friendly. Highly recommend!

The site is beautifully situated, and we had a few good days there. It’s a nice camping place for visiting Stockholm, 11 km away by bike or a 15 min. walk to the metro station. The pitches are small and the sanitary facilities are a bit outdated.

There are lots of different rooms, something for every taste, and you can also camp in summer. I often visit because it’s such a nice place. At the cafe, you can sit by the water and watch the boats while eating, or relax in the shade under a tree. There are also two places to go swimming if you need to cool off.

The area is nice, but I didn’t think the campsite was worth the fees. The facilities are old and aren’t cleaned often, and there are too many people for the showers and restrooms available. There’s no option to dump grey water. At least the subway is about a 10 minute walk away.

We stayed at the campsite for a couple of days. The setting is beautiful, with places to swim in Mälaren, and the location gets four stars from me. The facilities are a bit dated, though. Toilets and showers aren’t super fresh, but they work. Latrin emptying is okay, but you can’t empty greywater. The whole camping area is a bit narrow, so driving takes some skill. Mälarhöjden T-bana station is a 10 minute walk away, with easy access to Stockholm.
